It has enough storage space in the locking area below the seat to hold two full-face helmets (I have verified this
with two HJC CL15's), but I added a Nelson-Rigg tail pack to give me a place to keep rain gear and other things
accessible. This tail pack (see pictures) has a rain hood and enough room to hold a set of rain gear, gloves, hat,
notebook, celphone, etc. This sits on the tail rack and is attached only by four built-in bungees with hooks.
You can take it off re-install in seconds.
Riding this bike is a joy! The power band of this 600cc water-cooled twin (about 50 hp) is perfectly suited to
the use of the CVT which keeps the engine at 4,000 rpm until about 60 and then it climbs in RPM with speed.
You are always in the right gear - throttle response and acceleration is smooth and instant.
The engine is fuel injected and starts and runs smoothly from the time you fire it up in the morning until you
shut down at the end of your trip. Brakes are very precise, low effort and POWERFUL!
The dual headlights really give you great night visibility.
This is a two-up machine suitable for two riders on day trips or touring. |
